The shirt under dress trend has been everywhere since the beginning of summer it seems, so today I’m doing my own take on that but with a romper. On any normal day in November, it would be too cold to wear rompers, but the day I shot this it was sunny and almost 70 degrees! For us Seattle people, that’s basically a day in summer.
I chose this burnt orange colored blouse to wear under the romper, which gives this look more of a fall vibe. I actually wore this top backwards because the shirt had a cutout in the front and it didn’t match with the rest of the outfit, but let’s keep that between you and me ;). I’ve had this romper for years now, but I always find myself bringing it back out and styling it different ways! It’s a versatile piece for sure. Loafers are back this season, but all the fashion bloggers I follow own ones that are crazy expensive. I’m not about that life so the ones I’m wearing here were $15 :). I added the bow choker to this outfit at the last minute and I think it totally makes the look!
Let me know what you think of this outfit, it may be my favorite I have posted so far 🙂
Before ending this post, I need to say how angry and disappointed I am in the election results. I am honestly terrified for the next four years and what this racist, homophobic, sexual assailant orange will do. Already hearing disgusting hate stories from women, immigrants, Muslims, LGBTQ+, POC, and anyone else who he doesn’t respect, breaks my heart. Trying to stay positive and optimistic, much love.
