A Day in Downtown Seattle // 10.29.16

I always feel like a tourist in my own city whenever I visit Downtown Seattle, but it’s one of my favorite places! My cousin was visiting me for the weekend which was the main reason why we went. We started off the day at Moore Coffee Shop, which I would highly recommend if you live or ever visit here. The best waffles I’ve had and the cutest lattes (instagram I took of the food here)! After, we made our way over to Pike Place Market – one of the most touristy places in Seattle, but for a good reason. We both bought our own bouquet of flowers and took way too many pictures with them, which is what you see in this post. But did you even go to Pike Place if you didn’t buy flowers..?(; For the remainder of the afternoon we basically did nothing but walk around looking for food, and ended up eating at like five places in six hours…oops. We’re just real healthy like that ;). We ended the night off by seeing The Fray and American Authors live at the Moore Theatre which was such a great time!

Since we spent the whole day here and it was pouring rain, I had to dress for comfort and the weather. This bomber is the newest in my collection and in my favorite shade of pink for this fall! I paired that with a simple striped top and my satin choker. On the bottom, I have these faux-leather leggings that I thought would be a step up from regular leggings but were still comfortable! I opted for my go-to leather Vans because I knew we would be walking around the city all day, and they did me good. 🙂
